Lovingly hand-tailored in Brazil's centre-of-excellence for artisanal heritage, the state of Minas Gerais, these pearls of craftsmanship make Maria Valentina the first and only label producing lace frontals from genuine Brazilian hair in Brazil. We use only the finest European lace, not the synthetic and itchy Asian varieties currently flooding the markets. Each hair strand is individually tied to the lace, unlike mass market frontals where several pieces of hair are knotted at once to save time at the cost of making the knots visible and bleaching of the knots necessary. While we also offer knot-bleaching, it is only recommended for darker hair colours, and even there with the caution that its added benefit when the level of craftsmanship is as high as it is with Maria Valentina may be outweighed by the added risk of hair shedding.
