Wefted Extensions
Ordinary hair extensions use fast and simple wefting techniques that result in bulky wefts and approximately 20% of hair shedding off in the first month. To tackle this problem, Maria Valentina has developed a proprietary Stop-Shed™ technique for hand-wefting, and uses double-sealing in its machine-wefting. Independent tests have verified that Stop-Shed™ hand-wefting reduces the amount of shedding by 38% during the first six months of use compared to standard wefting techniques – while still being thinner than ordinary hand-tied wefts. Our machine-wefts, on the other hand, are hand-stitched at the ends of the wefts, and we apply weft-sealant inside the weft before its last folding and final stitching. These two techniques used jointly make our thin single-track machine weft as durable as any thick double-track machine weft on the market.
